3 Tips to Nail Facebook Content You Need to Know

1. Use Photos

Words on a busy Facebook wall can easily be lost in the fray. To ensure that your content gets noticed, it’s imperative that you use photos in your Facebook content. According to Sprout Social , photos are the most popular types of content on Facebook and are about 85 percent of all shared content. That’s reason enough right there to include them in your next Facebook post.

2. Choose Relevant Content

This seems obvious, but too many people and companies post content that nobody is interested in. The content you post has to be at least tangentially relevant to the people you’re connected with on Facebook. It doesn’t have to be a complete slam dunk, but you need to ensure there’s a connection.

Say for example you’re involved in real estate. You could post content on your Facebook wall about the latest news on interest rates, the latest first home buyer tax breaks, or even newly developed home improvement products or trends. Even though the home improvement content isn’t quite perfect for your audience, it’s likely interesting to them.

3. Be Consistent

Consistency is key with Facebook content. If you only post every once in a great while, you won’t build much of a following or engage with your readers enough. Try posting the same three days a week to start. Once you get used to that, ramp up to posting every day or more.

Just don’t post too often. Posting too often can lead fans to feel that you’re flooding their feed with content. This could have a negative impact on your relationship. According to Buffer , the general ideal number of posts is 2 per day. However, it varies per industry and social media profile.
